CAT Going Online - Luck is when preparation meets opportunity

The race to the IIM’s has taken a new turn. CAT – the mother of all entrance tests – is in a new avatar. The toughest B-School entrance test for the premier IIM’s and other B schools in the country is taking a giant leap – from a simple Paper pencil mode to the virtual screen.

The IIM’s have declared that CAT09 will be a CBT (Computer Based test). The IIM’s have been contemplating the online mode for quite some time now (since the infamous CAT03 paper leak) and it is for the first time in 2009, that the CAT will be conducted online.
